Over the past 24 hours, the armed formations of Ukraine opened fire seventeen times on populated localities of the Republic, a spokesman for the DPR PMD reported at the briefing in Donetsk on March 4.
- “On the Gorlovka front, fighters of the 59th brigade armed with heavy machine guns and small arms opened fire at Zaytsevo (southern), Golmovsky and the village of Izotov Mine.
- On the Donetsk front, the 92nd, 57th and 28th brigades armed with 120 and 82mm mortars, rocket launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms opened fire at Zhabichevo, Signalnoye, Staromikhaylovka, Spartak, Kuibyshevsky District of Donetsk and the village of Trudovskaya Mine.
- On the Mariupol front, forces of the 10th brigade armed with 120mm mortars and heavy machine guns fired at Sakhanka.
As a result of the shelling of Signalnoye, houses and outbuildings are damaged at 6 Pionerskaya Street. Information on the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure and civilian casualties is being specified.
Materials on the cases of firing at populated localities have been sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic, as well as to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office to include them in criminal cases against AFU brigade commanders Kokorev, Mishanchuk, Marchenko, Zubanich and Shapovalov,” the statement reads.
