The Investigations Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office is investigating criminal cases against commanders and military personnel of the 59th AFU separate motorized infantry brigade and 128th separate mountain assault brigade for committing terrorist acts in Nikitovsky District of Gorlovka and the town of Dokuchayevsk under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code, the law enforcement agency reported on March 12.
It was established that on March 11, 2020, military personnel of the 59th AFU separate motorized infantry brigade, on the orders of their commander G.N. Shapovalov, launched an attack on Dokuchayevsk with mortars and rocket launchers. As a result, windows of the house at 6 Fedoseyeva Street and houses at 9A Alfavitny Lane are damaged. The attack also resulted in damage to the roofs of the houses at 8, 10 and 13 Fedoseyeva Street and the roofs of the houses at 5 and 7 Nikitovskoye Highway.
Moreover, on March 11, 2020, military personnel of the 128th AFU separate mountain assault brigade, on the orders of commander O.N. Goncharuk, shelled the village of Yasny, Dokuchayevsk, with mortars, which resulted in damage to apartment 14 in the apartment building at 31A Schorsa Street.
