The AFU violated the ceasefire 35 times over the past week, including with prohibited weapons, Vice-Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on March 13.

“In areas of twenty-three settlements of the Republic, the enemy fired 18 artillery projectiles of 122mm calibre, 263 shells of 120mm and 82mm calibre and 246 grenades of various types.

As a result of the AFU shelling, there was wounded a civilian born in 1964, and 19 houses sustained damage in Golmovsky, Zaitsevo, Krutaya Balka, Sakhanka and a gas pipeline in Donetsk at 9 Sofiyskaya Street,” Eduard Basurin said.

The Colonel also noted that all the information with photos and videos attached had been sent to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic and submitted to the Prosecutor General’s Office for criminal proceedings to be initiated against war criminals Kashchenko, Marchenko, Mishanchuk, Kokorev, Shapovalov, Goncharuk, and Zubanich.

  • the 128th brigade — one armoured combat vehicle and one self-propelled anti-aircraft gun in Starognatovka; one IFV in Bogdanovka, Novotroitskoye, one IFV, one APC and one armoured combat vehicle near Taramchuk, and one BTR-70 armoured personnel carrier in close proximity to residential buildings in Nikolayevka.
  • the 58th separate mechanised infantry brigade — one MT-LB armoured personnel carrier and three armoured reconnaissance and patrol vehicles in the locality of of Belaya Gora, and militants deployed one armoured personnel carrier near Novobakhmutovka.
  • the 28th separate mechanised brigade — one armoured combat vehicle and two BMP-1 in the Maryinka area;
  • the 92th separate mechanised brigade — one Osa anti-aircraft missile system in Umanskoye,

The presence of the AFU’s prohibited weapons and military equipment in populated areas is also recorded by observers of the OSCE Mission,” the Colonel added.
