Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov claims that twelve people allegedly came down with coronavirus in Gorlovka. This statement was disproved by the Interdepartmental Operational Headquarters for prevention of the new coronavirus infection to avert its infiltration and expansion in the DPR territory.

“The information from Mr. Avakov about the situation in Gorlovka is untrue. As of 10:00, March 13, the overall state of health of the patient suspected of having COVID-19 is satisfactory, no complaints, body temperature is normal. The patient is under observation. No other patients suspected of COVID-19 have been reported in the Republic at the moment,” the HQ informs.

They also reminded that all up-to-date information is published on official sources, on the Health Ministry’s website in particular.

“Ukraine perseveres in its attempts to destabilize the situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic by inventing new ways to touch off panic among our residents. Therefore, we once again call on the citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic to trust only official sources of the Republic,” the HQ concluded.

Recall that the DPR has elaborated an action plan to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, it also has all the necessary resources for medical examination and diagnosis.
