Electricians promptly restored power supply to the southern villages of the DPR that had outages the night before because of the firing from the armed formations of Ukraine.

According to a duty officer of the DPR Ministry of Coal and Energy, specialists from the Regional Energy Supply Company Republic Enterprise surveyed the 35kV power line RP VES-Sahanka between the spans of supports No.13 to 14 and found that the upper life wire had been cut by Ukrainian shell fragments. Despite the proximity to the contact line, the electricians restored the integrity of the power line and turn it on at 13:29. After all the necessary tests, all consumers of Novoazovsky District who had outages got the power supply back at 13:59.

The power supply of Sergeyevka, Sakhanka, Kominternovo, Zaichenko, Leninskoye, Dzerzhinskoye and Novaya Tavriya is working normally now.

According to the Coal and Energy Ministry’s press service, repair crews from the Regional Energy supply Company Republic Enterprise had to promptly restore the power supply to five localities that had outages because of the massive firing from Kiev militants this weekend.

On Saturday of March 14 at 10:30, the 10 kV power line RP-5085-Luganskoye was down and 22 electrical substations were cut off power. Residents of Signalnoye and Luganskoye, partially Yelenovka, 1164 consumers, as well as a boiler house, school and a kindergarten were completely left without electricity. It took an hour and a half for electricians to fix the damage, residents of all the three localities got electricity back at 12:00 the same day.

Also, on March 14 at 1:43, wires between the spans of supports No. 25 to 28 of the 35kV power line Ugolno-Rtutnaya-GPP-2 were cut by shell fragments of the armed formations of Ukraine, the 35 kV substation GPP-2 was down, 30 substations, three boiler houses, 4,966 consumers were left without electricity. Electricians started repair works in the early morning, the power supply to people and social facilities was resumed on March 14 at 13:46.

On Sunday night, three electrical substations supplying the village of Zhabichevo were down. 310 consumers were left without electricity. The moment the situation allowed, repair crews started the work, Zhabichevo got electricity back the same day.

The power supply to these localities is working normally now.
