From March 16 to April 3, Ukraine introduces additional restrictions in relation to people crossing the contact line, the press service of the anti-coronavirus Interdepartmental Operational Headquarters reports.

“Only citizens who have a permanent residence permit in Ukraine will be able to enter the Ukrainian territory. Only persons having a permanent residence permit in the Donetsk People’s Republic will be able to leave Ukraine. In this regard, we strongly recommend that residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic abstain from crossing the line of contact,” says the Interdepartmental Operational HQ for preventing the infiltration and expansion of the new coronavirus infection.

The Operational Headquarters operates 24/7. The Republic has everything necessary to examine, diagnose and treat patients with COVID-19. As of today, there are no patients suspected of being infected with coronavirus in the DPR.

We would like to remind you there has been a high alert regime introduced in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic starting March 14 in order to prevent the disease.
