Repair crews of the Regional Power Supply Company’s Central Electric Grids promptly fixed the power system, which was damaged tonight by firing of Ukrainian militants, and returned electricity to all consumers of Gorlovka who had been left without power.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Coal and Energy, the power supply returned to the houses of residents of the villages of Rtutny and Kurganka already at 12:19. It took literally several hours for electricians to restore the integrity of the 6kV power line RP-32-TP-1031, which was damaged in several sections, to put it into operation. The power line supplies 8 electrical substations, providing electricity to 965 consumers.

Also, the repair work to the 35kV line Ugolno-Rtutnaya-GPP-2 has been completed, electricians fixed the upper life wire damaged by shell fragments of the armed formations of Ukraine between the spans of supports from 22 to 23.

As was reported earlier, last night the AFU subjected Gorlovka to massive firing, having damaged two power lines, several neighborhoods of the city were cut off power at once.
