A Donetsk delegation participated in a round-table discussion We Stand Together in the Simferopol City Council, dedicated to the celebration of the 6th anniversary of the All-Crimean Referendum in 2014 and the Reunification of Crimea and Russia, the press service of the Donetsk City Council reports.

The meeting was attended by Head of the Simferopol Municipal Council Elena Protsenko, Head of the Donetsk City Council Alexey Kulemzin, Deputy Chairperson of the Simferopol City Council, Nadezhda Aksyonova, first deputy head of the Crimean capital’s council, Sergei Bazhan, and other officials.

Alexey Kulemzin emphasized that the Crimean Spring was a manifestation of wisdom, faith, unity and cohesion of the people.

“We would like to congratulate you on this wonderful holiday — the reunification of the Crimea with Russia, wish you peace and unity in your home and present to you Donetsk roses, like a piece of Donetsk citizens’ hearts, as a sign of gratitude to the Crimean residents for always helping citizens of our Republic,” the Head of Donetsk Municipal Council noted in his speech.

Alexey Kulemzin also invited the leadership of the Simferopol Council to pay Donetsk a return visit on the anniversary of the DPR capital, which will be celebrated in late August.

In addition, as part of the Bereginya Donbassa Project — Donetsk Roses for the Cities of Russia, those present together planted 50 rose bushes in the territory of Kazan Square, in front of the Simferopol City Council building.
