The Investigations Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office has initiated and is investigating a criminal case against commander of the 28th AFU separate mechanized brigade M. Marchenko, as well as military personnel subordinate to him, for committing a terrorist act under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code, the press service of the law enforcement agency reported on March 20.
It was established that on March 20, 2020, military personnel of the 28th separate mechanized brigade, on the orders of their commander M. Marchenko, attacked Petrovsky District of Donetsk by using rocket launchers. A woman born 1949 suffered fragmentation wounds when she was in the yard of the house at 131 Shestakova Street during the attack.
At present, investigators of the Prosecutor General’s Office are conducting the necessary investigative activities.
