Ukrainian armed formations continue to actively thwart OSCE SMM monitors in order to conceal prohibited weapons they have deployed, Deputy Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on March 27.
“This week, we revealed more cases of operation of EW mobile groups from the 305th and 20th EW battalions in the responsibility zone of the 92nd and 10th AFU brigades. UAV control and navigation channels were jammed in the areas of Kamenka, Ocheretino, Lebedinskoye and Chermalyk, where OSCE monitors were forced to stop working due to the danger of losing their UAVs. All the cases of Ukrainian militants’ interference with UAV flights are confirmed by official reports of the Monitoring Mission,” Basurin noted.
