Ukrainian militants conceal weapons deployed in the occupied populated localities — Eduard Basurin

The joint forces operation’s command conceals from OSCE monitors over 160 units of prohibited weapons deployed at the contact line and close by civilian objects, Deputy Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported the details on March 27 at the briefing in Donetsk.

Out intelligence confirms that AFU units have deployed weapons and military equipment near residential buildings and municipal facilities in the territory under their control:

— 59th separate motorized infantry brigade’s zone of responsibility: 10 armored combat vehicles and a Tunguska self-propelled antiaircraft gun in Artyomovsk, a BTR-3 in a residential area of Kodema, a BRDM-2 in Klinovoye;

— 58th separate motorized infantry brigade’s zone of responsibility: thirty-two T-64 tanks, five Vasilyok mortars near Konstantinovka, three BMP-1s in Valentinovka;

— 92nd separate mechanized brigade’s zone of responsibility: an artillery gun, two BRDMs, a BTR-4, two BTR-70 and two BMP-1s in Avdeyevka, a ZU-23, a BTR-70 in Novobakhmutovka, three Osa air defense systems in Kasyanovka, four BMPs in Granitnoye, three armored personnel carriers in Chermalyk, a BMP in Gnutovo, three BMPs in Lebedinskoye, thirteen infantry fighting vehicles in Sartan, a BTR-60 in a residential area of Kirillovka, a BMP-1 in Veseloye;

— 57th motorized infantry brigade’s zone of responsibility: eight self-propelled guns Akatsiya, two armored personnel carriers in Krasnoarmeysk, an anti-aircraft gun ZU-23 in Peski, two BRDM-2s and a BTR in a residential area of Netailovo;

— 28th separate mechanized brigade’s zone of responsibility: three BMP-1s in Nevelsky, four MTLBs and two BMPs in Krasnogorovka;

— 128th separate mountain assault brigade’s zone of responsibility: three BMP-1s near Starognatovka, four MTLBs and five armored personnel carriers in a residential area of Orlovka, a BMP-1 near Berezovoye, an anti-aircraft mount ZU-23 near a residential area of Novoselovka, a 120mm mortar and a BMP- 2 in Novognatovka.

The OSCE SMM also reports the presence of forbidden weapons and military equipment deployed by the AFU in residential areas.
