In order to prevent the importation of the new coronavirus infection into the Donetsk People’s Republic, starting from April 2, units of the DPR Emergency Situations Ministry carry out special treatment of vehicles at international checkpoints on the border with the Russian Federation and customs posts on the border with the Lugansk People’s Republic, the agency’s press service reports.
The Emergencies Ministry’s personnel apply a disinfectant solution to the exterior and interior of motor transport. After the disinfection, the vehicles can be used as intended and poses no threat.
It is worth noting that all departments of the Ministry of Emergencies are equipped with modern devices that allow to perform effectively the tasks set. There is also available the necessary amount of disinfectant solution to be used for territories’ decontamination.
As will be recalled, the Alexandrovka, Elenovka, Gorlovka and Oktyabr border and customs checkpoints have been closed for the movement of citizens in the direction of Ukraine since March 21.
