The armed formations of Ukraine opened fire at populated localities of the Republic twenty-two times in the past 24 hours, a spokesman for the DPR PMD reported at the briefing in Donetsk on April 2.

On the Donetsk front, the 28th, 54th and 57th brigades armed with 122mm artillery, 120 and 82mm mortars, anti-tank guided weapons, various rocket launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, were firing at Kashtanovoye, Aleksandrovka, Spartak, Zhabichevo, Staromikhaylovka, the village of Trudovskaya Mine and the Donetsk airport.

On the Mariupol front, militants of the 10th brigade shelled Kominternovo with 120mm mortars.

According to updates, militants from the 28th AFU brigade shelled Gornyak with 122mm artillery yesterday at 22:30. The terrorist attack resulted in damage to two houses at 16 and 20 Zaboyschikov Street, and the premises of School 67 at 32 Ugolnaya Street.

In addition, an attack on Zaytsevo with 82mm mortars and anti-tank rocket launchers resulted in damage to an outbuilding of the separate house at 19 Karbysheva Street.

This morning, fighters of the 28th brigade armed with BMP-2 guns attacked Staromikhaylovka, six residential buildings are damaged at the following addresses: 23 Pervomayskaya, 19 Krasnoflotskaya, 9 and 15 Kotsyubinskogo, 5A Dnepropetrovskaya, and 37 Zhukovskogo Street, a power line on the same street was also damaged.

Two houses are damaged at 13 and 24 Kirova Street, Kominternovo.
