The Ukrainian side keeps destabilizing the situation at the line of combat contact. The ongoing talks of the Trilateral Contact Group on peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbass mean nothing to AFU militants, which, therefore, demonstrates the failure of Kiev officials to handle the situation in the joint forces operation’s zone to maintain the ceasefire.
This morning at 7:37, militants from the 10th brigade shelled Sosnovskoye by using 82mm mortars. The shelling resulted in damage to a power line, three localities are cut off power: Sosnovskoye, Naberezhnoye and Leninskoye. Due to the ongoing shelling in that area, emergency services cannot proceed with remedial actions to fix the damaged power line.
Information on civilian casualties and damage caused to the civil infrastructure during the enemy’s shelling is being specified.
Materials on the case of violation of international law and the shelling of the civil infrastructure will be sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic, as well as to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for inclusion in criminal cases opened against AFU brigade commander Zubanich.
We call on international monitors to interfere with the criminal actions of Kiev militants to stop further aggression of Ukraine against the civilian population of Donbass.
