On April 7, Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin held a meeting on the current situation amid the high readiness regime, where Minister of Health Olga Dolgoshapko assured that the Republic is fully provided with test systems for diagnosing the coronavirus infection, the press service of the DPR Head’s Administration reports.

“As of today, five COVID-19 cases have been registered in the Republic, no fatal outcomes. 714 people with suspected coronavirus, including those who contacted them, are under observation. 169 of them are in hospital settings.

Testing for COVID-19 has been conducted in 241 cases. More than 13 thousand people are self-isolating, including citizens who crossed the border of the Donetsk People’s Republic and filled in a written consent for self-isolation.

We have a sufficient quantity of test systems to diagnose the coronavirus infection. Moreover, the issue of additional supplies is being addressed,” the Minister of Health noted.
