The hotline of the DPR Ministry of Revenues and Duties is operating in the Republic, which should be reached to report increases in prices for essential goods and medicines. Minister of Revenue and Duties Yevgeny Lavryonov spoke about this in details in an interview with a correspondent of the DPR Official Website.

“At a meeting on food security, held by Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin with the participation of wholesale importers and trading networks representatives, a decision was made to introduce state support in the form of loans to ensure a two-month supply of food in warehouses. Today, the companies are preparing documents to apply for these loans.

The Ministry of Revenue and Duties was also instructed to elaborate measures to support such companies, first and foremost, to provide tax benefits, which we are currently working on.

The Ministry of Economic Development was instructed to make up a list of socially significant goods in view of the epidemiological situation, so that retail chains would follow their pricing with particular attention.

As for the operation of the Ministry’s hotline, it is receiving a lot of appeals. Employees of the Revenues and Duties Ministry have already proceeded to inspecting food and non-food markets of the Republic. In addition to that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development, prices are daily monitored in both trading networks and markets,” Yevgeny Lavryonov said.
