Repair crews from the Central Electric Grids, the Regional Energy Supply Company Republic Enterprise’s subdivision, have completed repair works in the suburb of Gorlovka after the massive shelling by the armed formations of Ukraine, the Ministry of Coal and Energy’s press service reports.

“Today, after the 110kV power line Gorlovka — Trikotazhnaya 2 was repaired, the 110kV Trikotazhnaya substation was powered on, electricity got back to all consumers in the village of Shirokaya Balka who experienced outages. At the moment, the power supply to the village is carried out in a normal mode,” specialists of the Regional Energy Supply Company Republic Enterprise’s Central Electric Grids informed.

Recall that Kiev militants cut off power the village of Shirokaya Balka in the suburb of Gorlovka tonight. Fragments of shells fired by the AFU caused serious damage to the 110kV Makeevskaya — Gorlovka power line and its branch line to Trikotazhnaya. Electricians found that many wires had been exposed, an overhead ground-wire cable had been detached, insulators broken. The 110kV Trikotazhnaya substation was down, which supplies 5 electrical substations and 224 consumers in Shirokaya Balka.
