Tonight, the Kiev forces caused a power cut in the village of Shirokaya Balka in a Gorlovka suburb, the press service of the DPR Coal and Energy Ministry reports.

AFU shells broke the lightning protection cable in two spans of the 110kV high-voltage line, which blocked the overhead lines, cutting off power supply to the 110kV Trikotazhnaya substation, which fed five transforming substations, that is 224 household subscribers were powered.

Emergency teams of the Central Electric Networks local branch have already arrived at the damage site, one group is inspecting the entire length of the 110 kV Makeyevska-Gorlovka high-voltage line for further destruction, and the second one is eliminating the already identified damage.

Repair works will be carried out in the shortest possible time.
