Today [on April 9], another terrible tragedy struck the long-suffering Gorlovka as a 26-year-old girl was cynically killed by Ukrainian militants. She died as a result of the burst of a shell dropped by an AFU drone. A 59-year-old man, who was taken to hospital with numerous bodily injuries, was also severely wounded.
This is the third Republic civilian perished at the hands of Ukrainian war criminals in the last 30 days, and 11 citizens suffered injuries of varying severity over the same period.
At a time when the whole world had united to fight against a common enemy — the coronavirus pandemic — which has already claimed thousands of lives, Ukraine has drastically stepped up attacks on the Donetsk People’s Republic. It deliberately targets civilians, their homes, and social facilities.
We urge the entire global community to immediately force Kiev to stop killing innocent civilians. Otherwise, we reserve the right to respond to such actions, resorting to the strongest methods available.
