The Investigation Department of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office has initiated and is investigating a criminal case against D.V. Kashchenko, the Commander of the 58th separate motorized infantry AFU brigade, along with the military subordinate to him, into the fact of commission of a terrorist act, constituting a crime under Article 229, Section 3 (b) of the DPR Criminal Code, the press service of the law-enforcement agency reports today, on April 10.
It has been established that on 9 April 2020, military personnel of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, at the order of Commander D.V. Kashchenko, attacked the Tsentralno-gorodskoy district of Gorlovka, as a result of which a residential building at 166 Plotinnaya Street sustained damage, a man born in 1960 received multiple shrapnel wounds to the head, neck and chest, and a woman born 1995 — a shrapnel wound to the chest, of which she subsequently died.
Investigators of the Prosecutor’s Office are currently carrying out the necessary investigative activities.
