The enemy has stepped up shelling the Republic’s territory, at that extensively using unmanned aerial vehicles to carry out air reconnaissance and adjust fire, official representative of the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Oleg Nikitin reported on April 11.
Yesterday, Ukrainian militants used a UAV to adjust fire while engaging IFV cannons at the locality of Signalnoye. Through the skilful and coordinated actions of the air defence units and electronic warfare squads of the Mantia-ARP Unified Integrated Protection System, Ukrainian Phantom-type drone was detected and brought down.
That was the second enemy UAV destroyed in a week.
