In view of the threat of the new coronavirus infection spread, a Crisis Center has been established under the high-alert regime on the basis of all city and district administrations of the Republic to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Another meeting of such a Crisis Center took place in the Novoazovsky district today, on April 13.

According to the correspondent of the Official Website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, information on the current situation in the district was reported in the course of the meeting.

At the moment, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Novoazovsky district is stable. No cases of the new coronavirus infection have been registered in the district. 52 persons are supervised in self-isolation, of whom seven arrived from the Russian Federation in the past two days.

“The District Administration is taking out all the necessary measures recommended by the Health Ministry and other agencies, aimed at preventing the coronavirus infection spread. The Emergencies Ministry carries out disinfection activities at the Novoazovsk international checkpoint. School students have been transferred to distance learning. Activities are implemented to inform the public, especially in the markets and in retail outlets. In general, the situation in the district is stable, it is under the full control,” Oleg Morgun, the Head of the Novoazovsky District Administration, commented.
