The situation in the frontline localities of the Novoazovsky district in still tough due to shelling by Ukraine’s armed formations, District Administration Head Oleg Morgun stated in an interview with a correspondent of the Official Website of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

“Unfortunately, the situation in the frontline localities of the Novoazovsky district is not developing in the best way. The armed formations of Ukraine continue shelling our territory. Infrastructure and utility systems get affected. For example, a power line has recently been broken and many villages were cut off power. Though the power supply to Sakhanka was restored by internal forces, the local administrations of Naberezhnoye and Primorskoye stayed without electricity for 3 to 4 days, until the matter was coordinated at the JCCC level.

In the village of Kominternovo there were registered direct hits in residential buildings. It’s good that nobody lives there. The entire social infrastructure is destroyed Kominternovo, there is nothing there. Nevertheless, in the village there live about 100 persons who do not want to leave their homes,” Oleg Morgun said.
