A military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has defected to the side of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the DPR People’s Militia Directorate reports.
“Another AFU military had sought our assistance, in view of which the Republic’s law enforcement agencies, in cooperation with the DPR People’s Militia, have successfully carried out an operation to ensure the passage of Anatoly K. to our territory. He is safe now. At the moment, he is undergoing a complex measures to prevent the coronavirus infiltration and spread,” the PMD report says.
The defensive agency also added that the military had fled from the base of one of the military units of the Vostok Operational and Tactical Group. He said that several more military of the AFU would soon follow his example.
