Ukraine’s armed forces engaged fire at populated localities of the Republic 11 times over the past day, spokesperson for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Dmitry Astrakhan reported at the briefing in Donetsk on April 28.

“On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 59th brigade engaged anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire at Golmovsky.

On the Donetsk front, from the positions of the 57th and 28th brigades, Aleksandrovka, Vesyoloye, the Trudovskaya Mine’s village and Donetsk Airport Terminal were engaged with 82mm mortars, IFV guns, grenade launchers, anti-aircraft mounts, heavy machine guns, and small arms. As a result of shelling of the village of the Trudovskaya Mine, a residential building at 57 Mamina-Sibiryaka Street sustained damage,” Dmitry Astrakhan said.

He also added that the information on civilian casualties and the damage caused to civil infrastructure was being specified.

All the evidence of the shelling have been provided to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic, along with the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office, to be attached to the criminal proceedings initiated against AFU brigade commanders Shapovalov, Mishanchuk, and Marchenko.
