Over the past 24 hours, the armed formations of Ukraine opened fire 15 times on populated localities of the Republic, spokesman for the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on April 29.

“From the Gorlovka front, militants of the 59th brigade armed with anti-tank rocket launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms engaged Zaytsevo (southern) and the village of Gagarin Mine.

“From the Donetsk front, the 57th, 28th and 128th brigades were firing on Aleksandrovka, Staromikhaylovka, Spartak, Zhabichevo, Veseloye, Yasnoye, the village of Trudovskaya Mine and the Donetsk airport with 82mm mortars, anti-tank and automatic rocket launchers, anti-aircraft guns, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

Staromikhaylovka was attacked, a house at 40 Zhukovskogo Street caught fire. Three residential buildings at 1, 7 and 8 Cheremukhovaya Street, the village of Trudovskaya Mine, are damaged,” Oleg Nikitin reported.

He also noted that more information on civilian casualties and the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure was being specified.

Materials on the cases of firing have been sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic, as well as the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for inclusion in criminal cases against brigade commanders Shapovalov, Mishanchuk, Goncharuk and Marchenko.
