For the purpose of enhancing the efforts to safeguard the rights of orphans and children deprived of parental care, a plan of action has been drawn up and approved for the period 2020 to 2022 to promote family-based types of care, the press service of the DPR State Agency for Children and Families reports.
“Following the results of this work, 147 orphans and children deprived of parental care have already been adopted or placed under guardianship over the reporting period this year in the Republic,” director of the agency Svetlana Mayboroda informs.
At present, all the specialized bodies and agencies continue to work on the implementation of this plan of action in order to implement the state policy in this field, so children of this category may find their families.
