In accordance with the Decree 90 of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic as of April 15, 2020 On Granting One-Off Financial Aid to Certain Categories of War Veterans in 2020 on the Occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, payments in the amount of 75 thousand rubles are granted to GPW combat veterans who permanently reside in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as to persons who suffered disabilities during the Great Patriotic War between June 22, 1941 and May 9, 1945 and the war with Japan between August 9, 1945 and September 3, 1945; as well as persons awarded a medal For the Defense of Leningrad or For the Defense of Sevastopol or a Resident of Besieged Leningrad decoration.
As of April 30, 23.3 thousand veterans have already received the aid, 330 of them got payments in the amount of 75 thousand rubles each.
It is planned that about 24 thousand recipients will get this one-off financial aid in 2020.
