The armed formations of Ukraine opened fire ten times at populated localities of the Republic over the past 24 hours, spokesman for the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on May 4.
- From the Gorlovka front, war criminals of the 58th brigade commanded by Kaschenko launched fire on Gorlovka, Verkhnetoretskoye, the village of Mine 6/7 and Gagarin Mine by using 82mm mortars, IFVs, various rocket launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
Five houses at 36, 37, 39 40 Koneva Street and 48 Shekspira Street, Gorlovka, are damaged. - From the Donetsk front, militants of 57th brigade commanded by Mishanchuk, 28th brigade commanded by Marchenko and 54th brigade commanded by Maistrenko opened fire on Vasilyevka, Krutaya Balka, Spartak, Signalnoye and the Donetsk airport by using 82mm mortars, IFVs, anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank rocket launchers, large caliber machine guns and small arms.
- From the Mariupol front, militants of the 128th brigade engaged the village of Petrovskoye by using 120mm and 82mm mortars, IFVs, large-caliber machine guns and small arms on the orders of war criminal Goncharuk.
Today the enemy shelled the lower area of Verkhnetoretskoye with 120mm mortars, having fired 10 shells at peaceful neighborhoods. The mortar shelling was being adjusted with the help of a UAV, Phantom model. The Ukrainian drone was downed thanks to the skilful and well-coordinated actions of air defense and EW units of the Mantiya-ARP Integrated Comprehensive Defense System. A power line was damaged during the shelling, Krasny Partizan and Verkhnetoretskoye are cut off power.
Additional information on civilian casualties and damage to the civil infrastructure is being specified.
