Over the past day, the armed forces of Ukraine engaged Republic populated localities six times, spokesman for the DPR PMD Dmitry Astrakhan reported at a briefing in Donetsk on 13 May.
During the meeting of representatives of the Contact Group, attacks on the Donetsk front have been stepped up. Militants of the 57th brigade under Mishanchuk, 28th brigade under Marchenko and 54th brigade under Maistrenko opened fire on Staromikhaylovka, Yasinovataya, Yasnoye and the village of Trudovskaya Mine with 82 mm mortars, BMPs, rocket launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
As a result of the attack on Staromikhaylovka two houses aredamaged at 102 and 104 Lenina St, and a house at 18 Shevchenko caught fire. Trying to put out the fire, which resulted from the shooting of Ukrainian militants, the owner of the house born 1968 suffered burns on the hands and feet. Mortar shelling was adjusted with the use of a UAV. The Ukrainian drone was destroyed thanks to well-coordinated actions of military of air defense units and crews of a Terrikon-M2N air defense station.
In addition, as a result of the attack on Yasnoye, two buildings at 26 and 28 Lenina St. are damaged.
On the Mariupol front, war criminals of the 128th brigade under Goncharuk engaged Petrovskoye with BMPs.
Materials on the attacks have been sent to representatives of international organizations in the Republic and to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for inclusion in criminal cases against AFU brigade commanders Maystrenko, Misanchuk, Marchenko and Goncharuk.
