Today, on May 25, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin once again became a blood donor. Mayor of Donetsk Alexey Kulezin and activists of the Young Republic Public Organization also came to the Republic Blood Center, the DPR Head’s Administration reports.
“The situation is evolving in the most unpredictable way. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian side has not heeded our warnings, and continues setting up provocations. In our experience, we know that both military and civilian population might need blood. The blood bank must be replenished, it is not in the best condition now,” Denis Pushilin emphasized.
The country’s leader called on the citizens of the Republic to donate blood, given there is an escalation going on at the line of contact.
Earlier, the DPR Head put People’s Militia units on full alert. The Chief of the People’s Militia Directorate is instructed to act in accordance with the instructions issued previously, which are aimed at preventing civilian casualties and destruction of social infrastructure, in case Republic territories are attacked.
