The Prosecutor General’s Office opened a criminal case on the wounding of a man in Gorlovka

The Investigations Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office has initiated and is investigating a criminal case against D. V. Kaschenko, commander of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, as well as military personnel subordinate to him, for committing a terrorist act, under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code, the press service reports.

It was established that on 29 May 2020, military personnel of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, on the orders of commander D.V. Kaschenko, fired with small arms at the village of Komarova in Gorlovka, a man born 1968 suffered a gunshot wound when working in a vegetable lot at 24 Vlasenko Street.

Case officers are currently conducting the necessary investigative activities.
