The enemy carries out aerial surveillance of the OSCE Mission’s personnel who patrol the areas where the AFU deployed their units. Besides, we know for sure that AFU fighters use their drones simultaneously during the work of OSCE UAVs, spokesman for the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing on June 17.

“Our monitors spotted a Maverick drone, which belonged to Ukrainian fighters from the 35th brigade, it was tracking the staff of the mission in the Konstantinovka-Novgorodskoye area, and also photographed the results of activities on disguising the equipment and positions of the brigade, which they carried out earlier.

At that, during the monitoring, an operator of the drone purposefully performed dangerous maneuvering in close proximity to the OSCE UAV.

After the OSCE Mission landed its UAV, our EW crew using a Terrikon M1 station intercepted the enemy drone and landed it on our territory. Its memory card is being examined now,” Oleg Nikitin informed.
