On Friday of June 19, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin met with Minister of Health Olga Dolgoshapko and awarded her with a state decoration, Badge of Merit for the Republic, the press service of the Administration of the Head of the DPR reports.
The Head of State stressed during the meeting that the epidemiological situation is under control in the Republic thanks to the teamwork of all medical workers.
“We understand that the most important thing in any job is the result. Now we see that in the difficult conditions, despite a lot of obstacles, we have contained the epidemiological situation. And this is the merit of absolutely all medical workers, the ministry’s staff. This is really teamwork for the desired result,” Denis Pushilin emphasized.
He added that the DPR healthcare workers continue fighting the coronavirus infection with great dedication, and this job deserves great gratitude.
“On the eve of the professional holiday of institutions subordinated to you, I would like to congratulate you and award a state decoration, Badge of Merit for the Republic,” Denis Pushilin said.
In turn, Olga Dolgoshapko thanked the Head of State on both her behalf and all health workers for the high appreciation of the work of medical workers of the Republic and concern for them.
“It is a great honor for me to get a highest state decoration from your hands. For all my medical career it never happened that my colleagues, young specialists, were granted apartments. That never happened in the days of Ukraine. I watched with awe you handing the keys over to the young family from Makeyevka. I know that our colleagues from other cities are next. For me, as a minister, it is the highest happiness to see concern. I know for sure these people will stay with us and will be working for the benefit of the Republic,” the Minister of Health said.
