Today, on June 25, Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, together with the HEALTHyMOVEMENT Help Center affiliated with the Donetsk Republic Public Movement delivered humanitarian aid to the Health Ministry’s Rehabilitation Center, the press service of the DPR People’s Council reports.
Vladimir Bidyovka said that the center annually provides inpatient rehabilitation to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and equal-status citizens.
“A while back this rehabilitation center asked us for help in purchasing TV sets. Today, together with the Donetsk Republic Public Movement’s HEALTHyMOVEMENT Help Center we have fulfilled the request. This center annually provides inpatient rehabilitation to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, persons born in time of war, combat veterans.
Of course, it was our duty to respond to their request. Veterans are the people who defeated Hitler’s Nazism and brought peace back to the homes of millions of people. We will always be grateful to them for their great feat. We intend to do everything in our power for them. We must not allow history to be rewritten and the heroic feat of the Soviet people to be erased from the memory, so our children and grandchildren know about that war, understand at what a price it was won and I am confident that they will bring up their own children with respect for the history of the Great Victory. I hope that those presents that we gave today to the rehabilitation center will please the veterans and will make the process of rehabilitation easier,” the speaker of the parliament said.
