Today, on July 3, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin awarded state decorations to medical workers of the Donetsk People’s Republic who treat patients with COVID-19.
“These people are fighting the invisible foe, sparing no effort. Thanks to their professional and coordinated action, the epidemiological situation in the Republic has been and remains under control.
Unfortunately, there are posthumous awards bestowed upon Svetlana Kovalyova and Vasily Kosse, paramedics from Makeyevka and Donetsk,” Denis Pushilin said.
The Head of the DPR also noted that 55 medical workers were singled out for awards.
“These people have consciously devoted their lives to others and remain loyal to their duty despite all the trials. Once again, I thank doctors, nurses, paramedics, orderlies, laboratory assistants and all those involved for their personal contribution to the fight against COVID-19. Thank you very much!” Denis Pushilin stressed.
