The Investigations Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office is investigating six criminal cases initiated against commander of the 24th separate mechanized brigade V.F. Gudz and commander of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade A.V. Mishanchuk, as well as military personnel subordinate to them, for committing terrorist acts under Article 229, Section 2 (a),(c), the press service of the law-enforcement agency reports.

It was established that on July 11, 2020, military personnel of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade on the orders from their commander A.V. Mishanchuk attacked the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk with mortars and rocket launchers, the fence and the house at 109 Pyatnitskogo Street, as well as windows of the house number 80 on the same street and the house at 104 Kurchatova Street are damaged.

Military personnel of the 24th separate mechanized brigade, on the orders of their commander V.F. Gudz on July 11, 2020, attacked the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka with artillery mounted on a BMP (infantry fighting vehicle), windows of the house at 34 Selidovskaya Street are damaged, an outbuilding of the house at 7 Baksheyeva Street caught fire. In addition, a garage in the yard of the house at 8 Selidovskaya Street was damaged by a guided missile of an anti-tank missile system.

Case officers of the Prosecutor General’s Office are currently conducting the necessary investigative activities.
