22 января Украина праздновала День соборности, то есть отмечала дату, когда произошло формальное объединение Украинской народной республики с Западно-Украинской народной республикой. Фактического объединения так и не произошло, а к лету 1919 года ЗУНР перестала существовать. Это событие прокомментировала депутат Народного Совета ДНР Елена Мельник.
«В своем выступлении Порошенко поделился с согражданами своим списком обязательной к прочтению литературы – это оказались мемуары Скоропадского и пропагандистская брошюра Петлюры. Ирония ситуации даже не в содержании последней, а в финале истории деятельности этих двоих на Украине – оба бежали.
Нынешний президент Украины загнан со всех сторон. С одной стороны, западные кураторы требуют исполнения обязательств. Это принятие «антикоррупционного» закона, введение Комплекса мер в правовое поле Украины и, в принципе, выполнение Украиной Минских соглашений. Ничего из этого Порошенко не сделал. Более того, был принят скандальный закон о «реинтеграции». С другой стороны, на Порошенко давят украинские националистически настроенные силы, которые продолжают требовать полномасштабной войны. И все это на фоне ухудшающегося экономического положения Украины.
Собственно, самое время читать мемуары Скоропадского, бежавшего из Киева после разгрома германских войск. Или вдохновляться методичками Петлюры, который тоже в Киеве не задержался и сбежал. Хотя сколько ни заучивай националистические методички, все равно правда с уст сорвется, как у Порошенко, в прямом эфире заявившего, что «сапог украинского оккупанта топчет украинскую землю Крыма, Донетчины и Луганщины». Действительно, часть Донбасса украинские оккупанты все еще топчут, но это временно. Судьбы авторов книг, рекомендованных Порошенко, подтверждают этот вывод», — заявила Елена Мельник.

The current president of Ukraine is chased from all the sides. On the one hand, Western supervisors demand fulfillment of obligations. This is the adoption of the “anticorruption” law, the introduction of the Set of Measures in the legal field of Ukraine and, in principle, the implementation of the Minsk Agreements by Ukraine. None of this Poroshenko did. Moreover, the scandalous law on “reintegration” was adopted. On the other hand, Poroshenko is pressured by Ukrainian nationalist forces, who continue to demand a full-scale war. And all this against the backdrop of the deteriorating economic situation in Ukraine.
Actually, it is high time to read the memoirs of Skoropadsky, who fled from Kiev after the defeat of the German troops. Or get inspired by Petlyura’s methodologies, who, too, did not stay in Kiev and fled. Although no matter how memorized the nationalist methodologies, the truth from the mouth will fall, like Poroshenko, on the air saying that “the Ukrainian occupants are invade the Ukrainian land of the Crimea, the Donetsk and Lugansk region.” Indeed, a part of the Donbass is still invaded by the Ukrainian occupants, but that is temporary. The fate of the authors of the books recommended by Poroshenko, confirm this conclusion,” said Elena Melnik.
