Истинной причиной ротации 128 огпбр ВСУ под командованием Собко на 24 омбр явилась утечка секретной информации из штаба бригады о готовящемся наступлении на Горловском направлении в феврале-марте 2018 года, отметил заместитель командующего ВС ДНР, полковник Эдуард Басурин во время брифинга 5 февраля.
«Часть личного состава бригады открыто отказалась от выполнения приказов командования ВСУ. ГШ Украины был вынужден срочно заменить бригаду.
В пункте постоянной дислокации, в Мукачево, ведутся следственные мероприятия с привлечением военной контрразведки СБУ по выявлению офицера, допустившего утечку информации.
Собко временно отстранен от исполнения обязанностей командира бригады до окончания следствия», — отметил Эдуард Басурин.

The true cause of the rotation of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade commanded by Sobko with the 24th separate mechanized brigade was the leak of secret information from the brigade headquarters about the forthcoming offensive in the Gorlovka direction in February-March 2018, Deputy Commander of the DPR Armed Forces Col. Eduard Basurin noted at the briefing on February 5th.
“A part of the brigade’s personnel openly refused to comply with the orders of the AFU command. The General Staff of Ukraine had to replace the brigade urgently.
At the permanent base in Mukachevo, investigative measures are being conducted with the involvement of the SBU military counterintelligence to identify the officer who let the leak of information happen.
Sobko has been suspended from the duties of brigade commander till the investigation is over,” Eduard Basurin noted.
