Сегодня, 19 февраля, прифронтовой поселок Зайцево посетили представители международной делегации политических деятелей, предпринимателей и членов гуманитарных организаций из Германии и Норвегии. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта Донецкой Народной Республики, делегаты осмотрели поселок и пообщались с представителями администрации, а больше всего их поразило то, что представители СММ ОБСЕ не появлялась тут уже около года.
«Мы приехали, чтобы пообщаться с людьми, посмотреть на ситуацию своими глазами и узнать правду о событиях, происходящих здесь. Перед посещением Зайцево я не мог даже представить то, что увидел — разбомбленные дома, забитые окна, пустые улицы. От представителей местной администрации мы узнали, что СММ ОБСЕ не приезжала в Зайцево уже около года. На мой взгляд, это ужасно, как раз там, где нужно фиксировать обстрелы и нарушение Минских договоренностей, их нет. Именно сюда и нужно приезжать, показывать и документировать все увиденное, чтобы потом делать правильные и объективные доклады», — подчеркнул председатель фракции партии «Левые» (Die Linke) в регионе Оснабрюк, руководитель проекта «Народная дипломатия Германии» Андреас Маурер.
Своими впечатлениями о посещении Зайцево поделился и представитель общественной организации «Народная дипломатия» в Королевстве Норвегия Хендрик Вебер. «В Европе очень мало знают о том, что происходит здесь и почему вообще произошел этот конфликт. Поэтому мы и приехали сюда, чтобы потом рассказать об увиденном в Европе. В Зайцево меня поразило то, что, несмотря на постоянные обстрелы и разрушенные дома, там живут люди. Очень тяжело осознать, что так близко от нас идет настоящая война. На нашем телевидении показывают, что СММ ОБСЕ — организация, которая все держит здесь под контролем, однако сегодня мы узнали, что в Зайцево их не было уже около года, а обстрелы в поселке продолжаются», — отметил делегат.
Напомним, основная цель визита международной делегации – развитие народной дипломатии между Федеративной Республикой Германия, Королевством Норвегия и Донецкой Народной Республикой.
Today, February 19th, representatives of the international delegation of politicians, businessmen and members of humanitarian organizations from Germany and Norway visited the front-line village of Zaitsevo. According to a correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the delegates saw over the village and talked with the administration representatives, and most of all they were struck by the fact that representatives of the OSCE SMM have not been here for about a year.
“We came to talk with people, look at the situation with our own eyes and find out the truth about the events going on here. Before visiting Zaitsevo, I could not even imagine what I saw — bombed houses, nailed-up windows, empty streets. From the representatives of the local administration we learned that the OSCE SMM has not come to Zaitsevo for about a year. In my opinion, it is terrible that they do not come where it is necessary to record the shelling and violation of the Minsk Agreements. This is where you need to come and document everything you saw to do the right and objective reports,” chairman of the Die Linke faction for the Osnabrück land, manager the German Public Diplomacy project Andreas Maurer stressed.
Representative of the Public Diplomacy organization for the Kingdom of Norway Hendrik Weber shared his impressions of his visit in Zaitsevo. “In Europe, they now a few about what is happening here, and why the conflict happened in general. That is why we came here to tell in Europe about what we saw. In Zaitsevo I was struck by the fact that despite constant shelling and destroyed houses, people live there. It is very difficult to realize that a real war is so close to us. On our television, they show that the OSCE SMM is an organization that keeps everything under control, but today we learned that they have not been in Zaitsevo for about a year, and shelling continues in the village,” the delegate noted.
Recall, the main purpose of the visit of the international delegation is the development of public diplomacy between the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Norway and the Donetsk People’s Republic.
