В рамках визита в Донецкую Народную Республику делегация политических деятелей, предпринимателей и членов гуманитарных организаций из Германии и Норвегии сегодня, 20 февраля, посетила Республиканский травматологический центр в Донецке. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, делегаты пообщались с руководством лечебного учреждения, ознакомились с потребностями травматологического учреждения и пообещали по возможности помочь оборудованием.
«Наш центр посетили гости из Германии и Норвегии. Очень приятно, что люди интересуются событиями, происходящими в Донбассе. Они внимательно выслушали рассказ о тех событиях, которые пережил наш травматологический центр с начала войны и переживает сейчас. По итогам нашей встречи мы договорились о том, что по возможности они окажут нам помощь медицинским оборудованием. Надеюсь, что у нас будет долгое и плодотворное сотрудничество, поскольку ежедневно в наш центр обращаются от 30 до 60 человек, а иногда и больше ста, не только с бытовыми травмами, но иногда и с минно-взрывными», — отметил заместитель директора Республиканского травматологического центра по хирургической работе Вадим Оноприенко.
Председатель фракции партии «Левые» (Die Linke) в регионе Оснабрюк, руководитель проекта «Народная дипломатия Германии» Андреас Маурер рассказал о том, что побудило его посетить травматологический центр. «Для нас было очень важно посетить это учреждение и получить информацию о существующих проблемах из первых рук. После того как мы посетили прифронтовые районы Республики, поняли, что и сейчас есть много пострадавших, так как до сих пор ведутся боевые действия. Если у нас получится найти людей в Европе, которые захотят помочь, то мы уже будем знать, в чем нуждается центр. Здесь мы впервые услышали конкретно, сколько погибло людей в ДНР за время войны, что нас просто ужаснуло», — подчеркнул он.
Кроме того, делегат добавил, что в ходе общения с и. о. министра иностранных дел ДНР представители международной делегации обсудили открытие представительства Донецкой Народной Республики в Германии по форме народной дипломатии.

“Guests from Germany and Norway visited our center. It is very pleasant that people are interested in the events happening in Donbass. They listened attentively to the story of the events that our trauma center has experienced since the beginning of the war and experiences now. Following on from the results of our meeting, we agreed that, if possible, they will help us with medical equipment. I hope that we will have a long and fruitful cooperation, since from 30 to 60 people and sometimes even more than a hundred apply to our center every day, not only with domestic injuries, but sometimes with mine explosions traumas,” deputy surgery director of the Republic Trauma Center Vadim Onoprienko noted.
Chairman of the Die Linke faction in the Osnabrück land, head of the Public diplomacy of Germany project Andreas Maurer told about what prompted him to visit the trauma center. “It was very important for us to visit this institution and get information about existing problems first-hand. After we visited the front-line regions of the Republic, we realized that there were still many victims, since the fighting still goes on. If we manage to find people in Europe who want to help, we already know what the center requires. Here we for the first time heard specifically how many people died in the DPR during the war, which horrified us,” he stressed.
In addition, the delegate added that while talking with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR, the representatives of the international delegation discussed the opening of the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic to Germany in terms of public diplomacy.
