Нестабильная экономическая обстановка на Украине привела к серии забастовок по всей стране в разных отраслях. Практически одна за другой стали появляться новости о голодовке шахтеров в Селидово, забастовке волынских шахтеров, остановке учебного процесса в Национальном медицинском университете имени А. Богомольца, забастовке энергетиков Запорожья и Бердянска. Причины подобного развития событий прокомментировала республиканский парламентарий Екатерина Мартьянова.
«Это говорит о двух вещах. Во-первых, о плачевной ситуации в украинской экономике. Во-вторых, о росте протестных настроений – у людей заканчивается запас прочности. В Селидово, на Волыни, в Запорожье ситуация одна и та же – и шахтерам, и энергетикам месяцами задерживают зарплату. Украинские СМИ сообщают, что, например, в Бердянске сотрудники районных электросетей не получают зарплату с сентября 2017 года. Учитывая стоимость электроэнергии для населения и постоянный рост тарифов, отсутствие денег хотя бы на заработную плату работникам выглядит странно. В свою очередь протесты шахтеров в Селидово приняли затяжной характер. Люди использовали разные формы протеста, в том числе голодовку. Другая ситуация в одном из самых известных вузов страны. Причиной забастовки протестующие называют вмешательство руководства министерства здравоохранения во внутреннее управление Киевского медицинского университета. Среди обвинений, выдвинутых Минздраву, принуждение к растрате бюджетных средств и нарушение процедуры тендерных закупок.
Несмотря на разницу в этих протестах, у них есть один яркий объединяющий момент – беспрецедентное обворовывание работников предприятий и постоянное нарушение законодательства со стороны руководства. Простые люди никак не защищены от властного произвола и практически не имеют никаких правовых рычагов для изменения ситуации. А это, в свою очередь, создает условия для дальнейшего роста недовольства и социальной напряженности. Украинские власти уничтожают страну, взрывая ее изнутри», — отметила парламентарий.
The unstable economic situation in Ukraine led to a series of strikes throughout the country in various industries. News of the hunger strike of miners in Selidovo, the strike of Volyn miners, the stopping of the educational process at National Medical University named after A. Bogomolets, the strike of power engineers of Zaporozhye and Berdyansk have begun to appear almost one after another. Republic parliamentarian Ekaterina Martyanova commented on the causes for this sequence of events.
“It speaks of two things. First, the deplorable situation in the Ukrainian economy. Secondly, the growth of protest moods — people have run out of endurance. In Selidovo, Volyn, Zaporozhye, the situation is the similar — both miners and power engineers have been withheld wages for months. Ukrainian media reported, for example, that employees of regional power grids in Berdyansk had not received their wages since September 2017. Given the cost of electricity for the population and the constant increase in tariffs, the lack of money at least to pay employees’ wages seems strange. In turn, the protests of miners in Selidovo assumed a protracted nature. People used different forms of protest, including hunger strikes. Another situation happened at one of the most famous universities of the country. As the causes for the strike, the protesters called an intervention of the leadership of the Ministry of Health into the internal management of Kiev Medical University. Among the charges put forward to the Ministry of Health there are the compulsion to squander budget funds and violation of the tender procurement procedure.
Despite the difference in these protests, they have one bright common moment — the unprecedented looting of workers of enterprises and constant violation of the legislation on the part of the management. Ordinary people are not protected from arbitrary treatment and almost have no legal levers to change the situation. And that, in turn, creates conditions for further growth of disgruntlement and social tension. The Ukrainian government destroys the country, undermining it from the inside,” the parliamentarian highlighted.
