В ходе сегодняшнего заседания Контактной группы в Минске полпред ДНР Денис Пушилин заявил, что украинская сторона продолжает срывать восстановление мобильной связи Водафон на территории Донецкой Народной Республики.
«Жаль, что Украина продолжает политизировать и, соответственно, срывать восстановление связи Водафон. Казалось бы, уже достигнуто понимание, что нужно делать каждой из сторон конфликта, чтобы не допустить коммуникационной блокады жителей ДНР, вернее, прекратить блокаду. Но Украина находит каждый раз новые и новые причины отложить на неопределенный срок запуск оператора мобильной связи. Сначала Украина требовала дополнительных гарантий в районе Оленовки, в «серой» зоне, для ремонта поврежденного кабеля — мы предоставили эти гарантии, но связь не была восстановлена. Далее Украина запросила гарантии личной безопасности для сотрудников Водафона в процессе аудита оборудования на территории ДНР — мы предоставили и эти гарантии. Но сегодня Украина заявила, что нужны новые гарантии для нового оборудования — теперь от посредника в переговорном процессе, от России. Наверняка у Киева в запасе целый арсенал требований, которые они собираются выдвигать, чтобы затянуть время и ничего не восстанавливать. Мы, конечно же, будем и дальше добиваться политического решения от Киева, чтобы восстановить связь Водафон, но, сидя за столом переговоров с политическим шулером, прекрасно понимаем, что шансы невелики, и нужно, как и обычно во взаимоотношениях с нашими оппонентами, рассчитывать только на себя и наших союзников», — отметил он.
During today’s meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk, Plenipotentiary of the DPR Denis Pushilin stated that the Ukrainian side had continued thwarting the restoration of the Vodafone mobile communication in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“It’s unfortunate that Ukraine continues to politicize, and, accordingly, to thwart the restoration of the Vodafone communication. It would seem that an understanding has already been reached of what each party to the conflict should do in order to prevent the communication blockade of DPR residents, rather to end the blockade, but Ukraine every time, each meeting, finds more new reasons to postpone the mobile operator’s launch for an indefinite period. First, Ukraine demanded additional guarantees in the area of Olenovka, in the gray zone, to fix the damaged cable, we provided these guarantees, but the connection was not restored, then Ukraine requested personal security guarantees for Vodafone employees during the equipment audit in the territory of the DPR, we provided these guarantees too. But today Ukraine said that new guarantees were necessary for new equipment, now from the mediator to the negotiation process, from Russia. Surely Kiev has a whole arsenal of requirements, which they are going to put forward in order to expend time to restore nothing. Of course, we will continue to seek a political solution from Kiev to restore the Vodafone communication, but when sitting at the negotiating table with the political shuffler, we perfectly understand that the chances are not great, and we should, as usual in all relations with our opponents, rely on ourselves and our allies only,” he noted.
