Четвертую годовщину провозглашения Донецкой Народной Республики празднуют сегодня, 7 апреля, тысячи жителей нашего государства. На главной площади столицы прошел торжественный митинг, посвященный этому событию, а также праздничный концерт, собравший лучших артистов и творческие коллективы. Об этом сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР.

С праздником всех жителей Республики поздравил Председатель Народного Совета ДНР Денис Пушилин. «Дорогие друзья! Прошло долгих четыре года с того дня, когда Донбасс, не смирившись с государственным переворотом, который произошел в Киеве, решил взять ответственность на себя.

Думали ли мы тогда, что это только начало? Думали ли мы тогда, что против нас будет развязана полноценная война? Думали ли мы, что нас будут убивать из всего имеющегося на Украине оружия? Думали ли мы, что это растянется на столь долгий срок? Но могли ли мы поступить иначе? Могли ли мы склонить головы и смириться с тем, что по нашим улицам будут разгуливать нацисты? Смириться с тем, что история наших предков будет грубо попираться? Смириться с тем, что нашим детям будет стыдно за нас? Конечно же — нет!

Мы сделали очень смелый и отчаянный шаг, первый шаг. За эти четыре года прошло много событий, хороших и плохих, но Донецкая Народная Республика есть. Есть мы с вами, граждане Республики. У нас есть цель, у нас есть о ком заботиться. У нас есть ради чего побеждать, и мы победим!», — сказал он.

От имени Донецкого городского отделения общественного движения «Донецкая Республика» дончан поздравила глава администрации Пролетарского района Донецка Елена Рязанцева: «Сердечно поздравляю всех с этой знаменательной датой! Хотелось бы сказать огромное спасибо каждому. За упорство, стойкость, мужество и патриотизм. Четыре года мы показываем всему миру силу и непокорность Донбасса, боремся за будущее наших детей. Всем хочется пожелать веры, надежды, любви, единства и мирного неба над головой!».

Напомним, в этот день, 7 апреля 2014 года, была провозглашена Декларация о государственном суверенитете Донецкой Народной Республики и создан Народный Совет, сделан первый шаг к формированию будущего государства.

Thousands of residents of our state today, on April 7th, celebrate the fourth anniversary of the proclamation of the Donetsk People’s Republic. A solemn meeting dedicated to this event was held in the main square of the capital, as well as a festive concert that gathered the best performers and creative groups. Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin congratulated all residents of the Republic on the holiday. “Dear friends! It has been long four years since the day when Donbass, not having reconciled itself with the coup d’état that took place in Kiev, decided to take responsibility for itself.

Did we think then that this would only the beginning? Did we then think that a full war would be unleashed against us? Did we think that they would be killing us with all the weapons that Ukraine has? Did we think that this would last for such a long time? But could we have acted differently? Could we bow our heads and resign ourselves to the fact that the Nazis would walk around our streets? Reconcile to the fact that the history of our ancestors would be grossly trampled upon? Reconcile to the fact that our children would be ashamed of us? Of course not!

We made a very bold and desperate step, the first step. During these four years many events have passed, good and bad ones, but the Donetsk People’s Republic exists. There are we, citizens of the Republic. We have a goal, we have someone to take care of. We have a reason to win, and we will win!” he said.

On behalf of the Donetsk city department of the Donetsk Republic public movement, head of the Proletarsky district administration of Donetsk Elena Ryazantseva congratulated Donetsk residents, “I heartily congratulate everyone on this remarkable date! I would like to say a big thank you to everyone. For perseverance, steadfastness, courage and patriotism. Four years, we have been showing the entire world the strength and recalcitrance of Donbass, have been fighting for our children’s future. I want to wish everyone trust, hope, love, unity and peaceful sky over our heads!”

Let us recall that the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Donetsk People’s Republic was proclaimed on this day, April 7th, 2014, and the People’s Council was founded, the first step was taken to form the future state.
