Сегодня, 9 Мая, в Донецке прошел военный парад в честь 73-й годовщины Дня Победы в Великой Отечественной войне. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, десятки тысяч жителей и гостей Республики пришли на главную площадь столицы ДНР, чтобы принять участие в параде.

Со словами приветствия к собравшимся обратился Глава ДНР Александр Захарченко:

«Товарищи военнослужащие! Граждане Донецкой Народной Республики! Жители Донецка и гости столицы! Поздравляю вас с праздником Великой Победы!

В эти дни мы вспоминаем великий подвиг советского народа, одолевшего фашизм. 73 года назад наши деды и прадеды сделали невозможное – сломали хребет нацисткой гадине, спасли весь мир от коричневой чумы. Подвиг наших предков мы будем помнить всегда, а героизм воинов-победителей останется примером для многих поколений благодарных потомков. Великая Отечественная война унесла миллионы жизней. И сегодняшний праздник – праздник со слезами на глазах… Прошу почтить минутой молчания героев павших в боях за Родину».

Все присутствующие почтили минутой молчания память погибших защитников Родины.

«Сегодня нам также приходится с оружием в руках противостоять нацистской нечисти. Украинские последователи Бандеры и Шухевича поставили перед собой задачу — уничтожить народ Донбасса, пошатнуть Русский мир, насадить на нашей земле чуждую нам идеологию. Враг снова пришел на нашу землю, и мы, как наши деды и прадеды, встали на защиту нашей свободы.

Но они не учли, что донецкий характер не сломить. Ведь мы боремся за свою свободу и будущее наших детей. За право говорить на родном языке. Чтить память предков и свои традиции. За это мы готовы отдать жизнь.

Сегодняшний парад – это символ нашей несгибаемости, демонстрация нашей мощи. Это связь поколений, связь двух разных, но таких похожих войн. И как наши предки – мы победим!
Ура, товарищи!» — сказал Глава Республики Александр Захарченко.

Затем по главной улице Донецка прошли парадные расчеты и колонны военной техники.
Завершится парад Победы шествием «Бессмертного полка», собравший в этом году тысячи человек.

Today, on May 9th, the military parade took place in Donetsk in honor of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. According to a correspondent of the DPR official site, tens of thousands of residents and guests of the Republic came to the main square of the capital of the DPR to participate in the parade.

Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko addressed the audience with his welcoming speech:

“Dear soldiers! Citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic! Residents of Donetsk and guests of the capital! I congratulate you on the day of the Great Victory!

In these days we remember the great feat of the Soviet nation, who overcame fascism. 73 years ago, our grandfathers and great-grandparents did the impossible – they broke the backbone of the Nazi reptile, saved the whole world from the brown plague. We will always remember the feat of our ancestors, and the heroism of the victorious warriors will remain an example to many generations of grateful descendants. The Great Patriotic War claimed millions of lives. And today’s holiday is a holiday with tears in eyes… Please, observe a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of the heroes who died in the battles for the Motherland.”

All present held a minute of silence to commemorate the fallen defenders of the Motherland.

“Today we also have to confront the Nazis evil with weapons in hand. The Ukrainian followers of Bandera and Shukhevich set themselves the task to exterminate the people of Donbass, stagger the Russian world, inculcate a foreign ideology in our land. The enemy has again come to our land, and we, like our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, have risen to defend our freedom.

But they did not figure out that the Donetsk temper cannot be broken. After all, we are fighting for our freedom and the future of our children. For the right to speak our mother-tongue. Honor the memory of ancestors and their traditions. For this, we are ready to give our lives.

Today’s parade is a symbol of our resilience, a demonstration of our might. This is the ties of generations, the ties of two wars that are different but so resembling. And we will win, like our ancestors did!
Hooray, comrades!” Head of the Republic Alexander Zakharchenko said.

Then ceremonial crews and convoys of armament marched along the main street of Donetsk.
The Victory Day Parade will finish with the procession of the Immortal Regiment, which gathered thousands of people this year.
