Сегодня, 9 Мая, в Донецком государственном академическом музыкально-драматическом театре прошел праздничный концерт, посвященный 73-й годовщине Победы советского народа в Великой отечественной войне. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, поздравить ветеранов и участников акции «Бессмертный полк» с Днем Победы прибыл Глава ДНР Александр Захарченко.

Открылась праздничная программа внесением Государственного флага Донецкой Народной Республики и Знамени Победы — легендарного штурмового флага 150-й стрелковой Идрицкой ордена Кутузова дивизии, водруженного 1 мая 1945 года на крыше Рейхстага в Берлине.

С приветственной речью выступил Глава Республики:

«Добрый день, дорогие ветераны! 73 года назад вы совершили подвиг. Вы смогли доказать всему миру, что мы – великий народ. Та страна, которая 73 года назад победила – она есть, она живет в наших сердцах. Мы родились в этой стране. Благодаря Дню Победы мы обязаны научить наших детей любить ту страну, которая в 1945 году победила самого страшного врага на земле, пережила все невзгоды, потеряла миллионы людей, восстанавливала государство, практически полностью разрушенное. Это был подвиг великой и могучей страны! Это был ваш подвиг, дорогие ветераны!

Я часто себя спрашиваю, достойны ли мы вашей памяти, достойны ли мы ваших великих дел? Могу с уверенностью сказать – достойны, потому что мы всему учились у вас. Мы учились любить Родину, наших родителей. Я прожил всю свою жизнь с уверенностью, что у нас самая лучшая страна, самая лучшая армия и самые мужественные солдаты.

Вы нас научили воевать. Мы воюем уже четыре года, и за это время нас никто не смог победить, потому что мы – ваши потомки.

Дорогие ветераны! От себя лично, от своей семьи и от всех жителей Донецкой Народной Республики низкий вам поклон! Желаю вам крепкого здоровья! Живите, учите нас! И я вам обещаю: пока живем мы – 9 Мая никогда не умрет! Поздравляю вас с Днем Победы!», — сказал Александр Захарченко.

В честь Дня Победы на сцене драматического театра прошел большой праздничный концерт.

Today, on May 9th, the Donetsk State Academic Music and Drama Theater hosted a festive concert dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. According to a correspondent of the DPR official website, Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko arrived to congratulate the veterans and participants of the Immortal Regiment’s rally on Victory Day.

The festive program started with bringing out the State Flag of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Victory Banner — the legendary assault flag of the 150th Idritsa Order of the Kutuzov Rifle Division, which was hoisted on May 1st, 1945 on the roof of the Reichstag in Berlin.

Head of the Republic made his welcoming speech before the audience:

“Good afternoon, dear veterans! 73 years ago you performed a feat. You were able to prove to the whole world that we are a great nation. The country that won 73 years ago still exists — it lives in our hearts. We were born in that country. Thanks to Victory Day, we are obliged to teach our children to love that country, which in 1945 defeated the most terrible enemy on earth, experienced all adversity, lost millions of people, restored the state, it was almost completely destroyed. It was the feat of the great and powerful country! It was your feat, dear veterans!

I often ask myself, are we worthy of your memory, are we worthy of your great deeds? I can say with certainty that we are worthy of, because we learnt everything from you. We learnt to love the Motherland, our parents. I have lived my entire life with confidence that we have the best country, the best army and the most courageous soldiers.

You taught us how to fight. We have been fighting for four years, and during this time, no one has been able to defeat us, because we are your descendants.

Dear veterans! On my own behalf, on behalf of my family and on behalf of all residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic, we bow down before you! I wish you good health! Live, teach us! And I promise you, as long as we live, the 9th of May will never die! I congratulate you on Victory Day!” Alexander Zakharchenko said.

In honor of Victory Day, a big festive concert was held on the stage of the drama theater.
