Экологическая ситуация в республиках находится под контролем специалистов. Об этом заявил полпред ДНР Денис Пушилин в ходе обсуждения Контактной группой вопросов экологической безопасности региона.
По его словам, специалисты Донецкой и Луганской Народных Республик на постоянной основе проводят мониторинг опасных промышленных объектов, контролируют уровень подтопления шахт, берут пробы грунта, воды, воздуха. Угроз экологической катастрофы на территории республик нет.
Однако особое внимание и тревогу специалистов республик вызывает ряд опасных объектов, находящихся на временно подконтрольной Украине территории. Перечень этих объектов и угроз, которые они несут, переговорщики ДНР и ЛНР неоднократно предоставляли на встречах в Минске. Авария на любом из этих объектов приведет к полномасштабной экологической катастрофе и значительному количеству пострадавших среди гражданского населения по обе стороны от линии соприкосновения. Недавно в Луганске для обсуждения потенциальных угроз на подконтрольных Киеву промышленных объектах повышенного риска состоялся круглый стол «Экологические риски, исходящие от объектов на подконтрольной Украине территории», где профильные специалисты выразили готовность провести мониторинг экологической ситуации и дать адекватную оценку уровню их безопасности.
В рамках сегодняшнего заседания Контактной группы представители Республик в очередной раз высказали предложение о проведении совместных инспекций опасных промышленных объектов для своевременного выявления и устранения проблемных вопросов.
The ecological situation in the republics is under the control of specialists. DPR envoy Denis Pushilin stated this when the Contact Group was discussing the issues of environmental security in the region.
According to him, experts of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics regularly monitor hazardous industrial facilities, control the level of underflooding of mines, take samples of soil, water, air. There are no threats of ecological catastrophe to the territory of the republics.
However, special attention and concern of the specialists of the republics is caused by a number of hazardous facilities located in the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine. DPR and LPR negotiators at meetings in Minsk have repeatedly provided the list of these facilities and the threats that they pose. An accident at any of these facilities will lead to a full-scale ecological catastrophe and a significant number of civilian casualties on either side of the line of contact. Recently, in Lugansk, to discuss potential threats at Kiev-controlled high-risk industrial facilities under, a roundtable on the topic of Environmental Risks from Facilities in Ukraine-controlled Territory was held, where profile specialists expressed their readiness to monitor the environmental situation and provide an adequate assessment of their level of safety.
Within the framework of today’s meeting of the Contact Group, the representatives of the Republics have once again proposed the joint inspections at hazardous industrial facilities to timelyidentify and eliminate problematic issues.
