И.о. министра иностранных дел Натальи Никонорова прокомментировала заявление Председателя Совбеза ООН по ситуации в Донбассе.

«Мы приветствуем заявление Председателя СБ ООН о необходимости скорейшего урегулирования конфликта в Донбассе. Следует отметить, что в данном заявлении подчеркивается важность скорейшего исполнения Комплекса мер, что еще раз подтверждает безальтернативность Минских соглашений как инструмента мирного разрешения конфликта между республиками и Украиной. Необходимость подобной поддержки со стороны международного сообщества давно назрела. Непрекращающееся на протяжении почти четырех лет прямое нарушение Киевом пунктов Комплекса мер, одобренного резолюцией Совета Безопасности ООН, саботаж отвода вооружений и ежедневные военные провокации заслуживают реакции и осуждения со стороны международного сообщества. Особенно остро эта необходимость ощущается сейчас, в период очередного обострения ситуации на линии соприкосновения. Считаем, что данное заявление должно стать важным сигналом для Киева с целью побудить его к исполнению взятых на себя обязательств.

Оставаясь приверженцами мирного урегулирования конфликта на основе исполнения пунктов Комплекса мер, мы обращаем внимание международных гарантов Минского процесса на многократно зафиксированные Специальной мониторинговой миссией ОБСЕ нарушения режима прекращения огня со стороны украинских силовиков. Надеемся, что они окажут должное давление на киевские власти с целью соблюдения Комплекса мер, как это подчеркивается в заявления Председателя СБ ООН», — отметила Наталья Никонорова.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalia Nikonorova commented on the statement of the UN Security Council Chairman on the situation in Donbass.

“We welcome the statement of the Chairman of the UN Security Council on the need to settle the conflict in Donbass as fast as possible. It is noteworthy that this statement emphasizes the importance of the early implementation of the Complex of Measures, which once again confirms the non-alternative nature of the Minsk Agreements as a tool for the peaceful resolution of the conflict between the republics and Ukraine. The need for such support from the international community is long overdue. The direct violation by Kiev of paragraphs of the Complex of Measures, approved by the UN Security Council resolution, the sabotage of the withdrawal of weapons and the daily military provocations has been deserved response and condemnation from the international community for almost four years. This need is especially acute now, in the period of the next escalation of the situation at the contact line. We believe that this statement should be an important sign for Kiev in order to encourage them to fulfill their obligations.

Being adherents to the peaceful settlement of the conflict on the basis of the implementation of items of the Complex of Measures, we draw the attention of the international guarantors of the Minsk process to ceasefire violations by the Ukrainian militants, which was repeatedly documented by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission. We hope that they will exert appropriate pressure on the Kiev government to comply with the Complex of Measures, as emphasized in the statement of the Chairman of the UN Security Council,” Natalia Nikonorova noted.
