Во время брифинга 8 июля начальник пресс-службы ВС ДНР, капитан Даниил Безсонов сообщил, что в Республике продолжают фиксировать факты продажи вооружения Украине со стороны стран Европы.

«Так, 29 июня через пограничный пункт пропуска «Чоп» из Чехии на территорию Украины транспортировано 33 единицы 122-мм самоходных гаубицы 2С1 «Гвоздика». Отправитель – компания «EXCALIBUR ARMY SPOL. S R. O.». Получатель – государственное предприятие «Шепетовский ремонтный завод». В связи с тем, что американские оборонные корпорации нашли рынок сбыта военной продукции в европейских странах, Европа, чтобы не тратить бюджетные средства на утилизацию советского вооружения, в свою очередь нашла такой рынок на Украине.
