Накануне проведения в Российской Федерации Чемпионата мира по футболу Владимир Путин открыто предостерег официальный Киев от попытки обострить ситуацию в Донбассе во время Мундиаля. О том, как повлияло предупреждение на военную ситуацию и позицию Украины в Минском процессе, корреспонденту официального сайта ДНР рассказал постоянный полномочный представитель Республики в Контактной группе Денис Пушилин.
«Риторика Киева изменилась только на линии соприкосновения. Стрелять стали меньше, от серьезных провокаций отказались. Они наверняка были бы реализованы, если бы не 2 причины. Первая – мы максимально медийно обращали внимание на данные нашей разведки в плане техники и живой силы ВСУ вдоль линии разграничения. И вторая причина – недвусмысленное заявление Владимира Путина в отношении будущего Украины или его отсутствия, если будут предприняты какие-то деструктивные шаги во время чемпионата. Они испугались, и мы видим, что на линии соприкосновения относительно тихо», — отметил он.
Говоря о переговорном процессе, полпред Республики констатировал, что на заседаниях Трехсторонней контактной группы Украина продолжает саботировать работу. И деструктивная позиция Киева, по словам Пушилина, видна уже и странам–гарантам Минских соглашений.
«Одно дело понимать, другое – озвучивать публично и признавать виновными, в том числе и себя. Германия и Франция причастны к государственному перевороту, который произошел в Киеве. И если сейчас они открыто признают вину Украины – возложат ее и на себя. Поэтому они уходят от такой риторики и пытаются всячески поддерживать Украину, прекрасно осознавая при этом, что «выгораживать» ее в той или иной ситуации уже не представляется возможным. Украина сейчас – это балласт. Мы увидели на переговорах Путина и Трампа, что Украина уходит из повестки дня и упоминается лишь вскользь. Скорее всего, Европа пойдет по такому же пути», — резюмировал полпред ДНР.

“The rhetoric of Kiev has changed only at the line of contact. They’ve cut down on shooting, refused from serious provocations. They certainly would have been implemented, if it were not for two reasons. First, we paid maximum attention to the data of our intelligence in terms of armaments and manpower of the AFU along the line of separation. And the second reason was the unambiguous statement by Vladimir Putin regarding the future of Ukraine or its absence, if some destructive steps were taken during the championship. They lost courage, and we see that it is relatively quiet at the contact line,” he said.
Speaking about the negotiation process, the plenipotentiary of the Republic stated that at the meetings of the Trilateral Contact Group, Ukraine had continued to sabotage the work. And Kiev’s destructive position, according to Pushilin, has already been noticed by the guarantor countries of the Minsk agreements.
“It’s one thing to understand, and quite another to utter it publicly and pronounce someone guilty, including yourself. Germany and France were involved in the coup d’état that took place in Kiev. And if now they openly admit the guilt of Ukraine, they will point the finger at themselves. Therefore, they avoid such rhetoric and try to support Ukraine in every possible way, being perfectly aware that it is no longer possible to cover it up in one or another situation. Ukraine is a dead weight now. We saw at the talks of Putin and Trump that Ukraine was withdrawn from the agenda and was mentioned only briefly. Most likely, Europe will follow the same path,” the DPR plenipotentiary summed up.
